The Eternaforest.forumotion.com forums will officially close on May 9th, at 11:59 PM EST. The forums had a good run, it really did. But as all things do, they have to end. Another failed pokemon forum attempt. Nothing I could have done would have changed this. All the staff stopped posting, stopped visiting. Maybe this is for the best.     This topic is for discussion of the Pokémon X and Y Metagame (Competive Battleing stuff) including: VGC,Singles,Doubles,Wondercup,1v1, and ECT. And also includes: Pokémon,Tiers,Checks and Counters,Movesets,EV spreads,Items,strategies, and MORE! Also if you are planing to post about teams and other stuff, make a new topic!

    I just recently started using Talonflame. Boy did I underrate it. I had it written off for a long time, but it is truly powerful.

    Next up, Noivern!

    I've used one in my in game team for Y and online. I gotta say it's a good Pokémon for out speeding and breaking through Substitutes, thanks to Infiltrator. Here's the stats on mine.

    Noisey the Noivern w/ Wide Lens
    Timid nature
    252 Speed, 252 SpA, 4 HP
    -Air Slash
    -Flamethrower
    -Dragon Pulse
    -Protect

    I'm starting to get back into hatching eevees, so Adamant Flare Blitz Flareon with Evs in Attack Sp Def and HP with a Band is a good option. (I think)

    I recommend a Mega Scizor for an offensive sweeper, its extremely high attack and great typing (only having 1 weakness) is something to keep the opposing side shivering.

    Quick Attack
    U-turn
    Night Slash
    Item: Choice Band
    Evs: 252 Attack 252 Speed 4 HP
